What it is
The Immortal Syndicate is a gang of named NPCs you encounter in maps. After killing them you can Interrogate (reveal intel), Bargain (get items), or Execute (kill for rewards). The goal is to manipulate who is in each division (Transportation, Research, Fortification, Intervention) and who is the Leader of each, since Leaders drop better rewards.
When you encounter it
Syndicate encounters trigger randomly in maps. Jun Ortoi will appear in your hideout to let you view your Syndicate board and plan your strategy.
Key concepts
- •Four divisions: Transportation, Research, Fortification, Intervention — each has different reward types
- •Research is the most valuable division — the Research safehouse drops Veiled items and Betrayal-specific crafts
- •Members rank up over time — higher rank = better rewards
- •Betraying members against each other changes their relationships and your board state
- •Veiled items have hidden mods that Jun can unveil for powerful crafting options
Tips for new players
- 💡Prioritize getting Catarina to Research leader — she drops the most valuable crafting items
- 💡Unveil every veiled item you find with Jun — this unlocks those mods for crafting permanently
- 💡Stack Research with strong members and weak leaders of other divisions
- 💡Don't kill members you want to rank up — Bargain or Interrogate instead
