Walk into a mirror that spreads fog and spawns monsters — the deeper into the fog, the better the rewards.

What it is

Delirium encounters place a fog mirror in your map. Touching it spreads a fog that spawns extra monsters and applies 'Delirium reward counters' to existing loot. The further into the fog you push (killing as you go), the more Reward orbs appear at the end. Simulacrum Splinters combine to make Simulacrum Maps — pure Delirium encounters with 20 waves of monsters.

When you encounter it

Delirium mirrors appear in maps. The fog expands as you move through it, disappearing if you move too far from it too fast.

  • Reward categories (from Delirium orbs): Armour, Weapons, Maps, Scarabs, Divination Cards, Currency
  • Simulacrum Splinters combine into Simulacra — 20-wave Delirium gauntlets with a boss at wave 20
  • Delirium orbs apply to maps to increase their Delirium intensity
  • More Delirium coverage in maps (via Atlas passives) = more rewards
  • Three Delirium orbs applied to a map creates an extremely difficult but rewarding map

Tips for new players

  • 💡Don't walk away from the fog — keep moving toward the edge while killing
  • 💡Movement speed matters a lot for Delirium
  • 💡Simulacra are hard — don't attempt them until your build is solid
  • 💡Delirium orbs applied to Tier 16 maps with good mods can be extremely lucrative
