Legion

What it is

Legion encounters freeze two armies mid-combat. Touching the monolith briefly unfreezes them — during this window you must deal damage to soldiers to 'tag' them. After the freeze ends, the tagged soldiers come back to life and fight you (and drop loot). High-value Legion generals drop Emblems, which unlock Timeless Conflict maps (five-army boss encounters).

When you encounter it

Monoliths appear in maps as large glowing stones. Activating the monolith starts the encounter.
